Bhattarai is worse than Khanal - RPP Leader Chand

KATHMANDU, Sept.3 (THT): Maoist Standing Committee member Netra Bikram Chand, who toes Senior Vice-chairman Mohan Baidhya’s line, on Friday warned of serious consequences if the party failed to ‘correct’ its decision to hand over the keys of arms containers to the Special Committee.

At an interaction, Chand even went on to claim that the Baburam Bhattarai-led government was worse than the one led by Jhala Nath Khanal as far as the peace process was concerned. “Even Congress leader Sher Bahadur Deuba had pledged integration of more than 12,000 combatants,” said Chand.
